Building the operating system for Africa's circular economy.

I lead MatXchange and co-lead Dhow Partners, and I write the code for my own products. I work where business strategy and engineering have to fit together, and I care most about technology that makes things work better for people across Africa.

About

I'm a Nairobi-based founder who writes code. I believe the next wave of African tech will be infrastructure, not just apps: systems that move materials, money and energy in places where the formal economy doesn't reach yet.

I trained as a software engineer at Moringa School and I'm studying Entrepreneurial Leadership at African Leadership University. What I value most is going out to meet the people I'm building for. The scrap-yard owner in Ongata Rongai didn't ask for blockchain. He asked for his business to run more smoothly, and that's the standard I build to.
